My approach

A lot of wedding planning involves people telling you what you're supposed to do. As someone who's not a traditional wedding photographer, I like to throw that word out the window.

My editorial clients include Vogue Arabia, Harper's Bazaar Vietnam, L'Officiel Belgium, and Elle Mexico. A decade in fashion photography has taught me that the most powerful images come from care and instinct rather than control, and I bring that same sensibility to every wedding I shoot. You can't force magic, but you can be ready when it arrives.

I'm also completing my PhD in Philosophy at Harvard, where I study the metaphysics of experience and perception. This shapes how I see: I approach your wedding as a serious inquiry into beauty, memory, and what makes certain images impossible to forget. I work intuitively and unobtrusively to capture not just what happened, but how it felt.

Each couple receives a fully bespoke experience. I don't make assumptions about what you want captured. Instead, we design coverage around your actual celebration- the parts you're most excited about, the moments you're afraid you'll forget, and the people who matter most. 

I also donate a percentage of every wedding to a cause that we choose together- whether that's an environmental non-profit, arts education, refugee support, or something deeply personal to you. I see this as a way to infuse your celebration with good fortune and share its glow beyond the day itself. It’s also a lovely way to get to know a bit more about what matters to you as a couple.

My Medium

I shoot on 35mm film and Super8mm video because these mediums capture memory the way it actually feels: impressionistic, a bit hazy, both nostalgic and timeless. Each frame is hand-developed at my trusted lab for fashion editorials, where I work alongside experts to match colors, tones, and textures to the spirit of your day.  In an era of AI and infinite retakes, film demands presence and intention- the same qualities that make a wedding unforgettable. 

I offer two week gallery turnarounds, including a curated selection of preview images within 48 hours. In an industry where 12-16 week wait times are standard and photographers juggle dozens of weddings at once, I work differently. For the two weeks before and after your celebration, you have my complete attention. I want to do the work to ensure you are free to be your most present, relaxed self on the day, and can relive the memories in that honeymoon afterglow.
